iPhone Fun for Kids
When you're waiting at the doctor office, usually there are germ infested toys your children can play with while they whine about the wait.
My cousin was over recently and shared an iPhone app that was great for his kids on a long plane ride - but would work in any situation that involves waiting. iZoo is really fun for kids that love animals. It offers a list of animals that you can click on, then a photo of the animal comes up and when you click on that, the sound that animal makes can be heard. There are lots of animals to choose from, from common to obscure. I just showed my boys this morning and they can't get enough of it.
There are other great app's for your phone that would be great for entertaining your kids. Flight Control allows you to practice your landing skills, Penguin Lite where you can catapult the little creatures into different scenarios...there's lots more to choose from and many are free.
