Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Sandwiches
The weather is turning cold...but I still have cravings for Summer favorites. This is a great slow cooker recipe that doesn't need marinating time and has a prep time of about 10 minutes. This recipe serves about 6.
Ingredients:
1 bonelss pork loin (about 2-3 pounds)
Spice Rub (recipe follows)
2 cups barbeque sauce of your choice
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 medium onions sliced, 1/2 cup water
Sandwich rolls or burger buns of your choice (I like Kaiser rolls)
Sprice Rub:
2 tablespoons minced parsley (use 1 tablespoon, if using dried parsley flakes)
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon each: salt, ground ginger, nutmet, and pepper
optional: dried chili flakes, if you want a little heat - I usually omit this when cooking for young kids
Rub pork loin with Spice Rub and place in slow cooker; pour in combined remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours, turning heat up to high during last 20 to 30 minutes.
Remove pork loin and shred with a fork. Return the shredded pork back into the barbeque mixture and mix. Serve in toasted sandwich rolls or burger buns, and with coleslaw.

Birth order can can be a factor in career choices, behavior, personality type, or even how well they will do in school. Is birth order a good predictor of a child’s future?
