Overnight Coleslaw
This is an easy coleslaw recipe to whip up the night before or a few hours ahead. If you want to save even more time, buying the bagged coleslaw mix from the grocery store is a very good idea. I sometimes make this too close to dinner and don't allow enough time for it to sit - it's still yummy, but if you let it sit for a few hours, or overnight, it's extra delicious.
This will serve about 5-6.
Ingredients:
4 cups finely diced cabbage (about half a head)
1/4 cup shredded carrot (about 1 carrot)
1 tablespoon minced onions
2-1/2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoon buttermilk
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1-1/2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional)
Combine the diced cabbage, shredded carrot, and minced onions in a large bowl.
Combine the rest of the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Pour the mixture over the vegetables, and toss to mix well.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving.

Birth order can can be a factor in career choices, behavior, personality type, or even how well they will do in school. Is birth order a good predictor of a child’s future?
